The prevalence of misinformation surrounding hormone replacement therapy has led to confusion among both healthcare practitioners and patients. To address this, we have meticulously selected a Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) comprised of experts with extensive knowledge and experience in working with bioidentical hormones, particularly in the realm of Physiologic Hormone Restoration. These esteemed CAB members are committed to supporting WHN in various capacities, including educational growth, advising and fine-tuning research studies, and keeping us up-to-date with the latest advancements in the science of Physiologic Hormone Restoration. Notably, a crucial role of our CAB is to provide guidance and support to both new and existing prescribing professional members of WHN.

Dr. Julie Taguchi is a hematology oncologist with a specialty in breast cancer. She understands the importance of estrogen for quality of life in women who have been treated for breast cancer and therefore, has focused her time and personal research in this area.
She is the co-author of the book "Sex, Lies and Menopause" and is a principal investigator for our clinical study on Physiologic Hormone Restoration.
Dr. James S. Nagel is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician specializing in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. He founded Quality of Life Medicine for Health and Wellness in Chico, California, where he focuses on Lifestyle and Preventative Medicine, partnering with his patients to prevent disease. Dr. Nagel helped develop the Physiologic Restoration protocol involving true physiological estrogen replacement to prevent and reverse chronic health problems in women.
Gregory H. Wolf, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician, with expertise in Anti-Aging and Integrative Medicine. He received his B.S. from UCLA, M.D. from UC Irvine, and completed his residency in Family Medicine under USC. He has been in private practice in Orange, CA since 1985 and is highly experienced in Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Wolf is known for his empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care.
Mai Tran, Pharm D, is a compounding pharmacist with a passion for women‘s health and education in PHRT™. She enjoys taking on challenges and ensuring that the educational support needs of WHN’s providers are fulfilled.
Dr. ACE is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor who specializes in personalized natural medicine, including environmental, gastrointestinal, hormonal and joint health, regenerative medicine, and athletic performance. She completed her medical education at SCNM and has extensive training in Regenerative Injection therapies, Bio-identical Hormone Replacement therapy and Environmental Medicine. Dr. ACE is passionate about movement, health, and community and is a member of various associations related to Naturopathic Medicine.
Gretchen Jones, PA, specializes in hormone therapy and internal medicine. She has helped numerous women safely manage hormone deficiencies and is an expert in the use of bio-identical hormones for treating ovarian dysfunction, menopause, peri-menopause, and low testosterone in both women and men. She completed her medical degree in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University and gained experience with rhythmic hormone therapy while working in Wilmington, Illinois for over 7 years.
Anthony Llabres is an AFMC Accredited and Certified Functional and Integrative Health Coach with degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Molecular Medicine. He has certification from top training programs, including the School of Applied Functional Medicine, Functional Medicine University, the Kalish Institute, and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition. Anthony is also a teaching mentor and consultant at the School of Applied Functional Medicine, helping practitioners and clients worldwide with various dysfunctions. He served as an Air Traffic Controller and Medic in the US Army and the US Air Force Reserves.
Kristin is a board-certified nutritionist who specializes in coaching peri-menopausal and menopausal women. She uses a functional analysis of their health history, nutrition status, and lab tests to create a personalized protocol aimed at rebalancing the body’s systems and solving for any deficiencies. She also guides clients through shifts in diet, lifestyle, and mindset while educating them on options to restore or support hormones and optimize health. Additionally, she has special training in amino acid therapy for anxiety and mood disorders and completed a professional mentorship with a naturopathic endocrinologist.
Dr. Rebecca Provorse grew up in rural northern California and spent her adolescence wandering the hills, vineyards and orchards of Sonoma and Mendocino counties. Her innate love of the natural world became woven into her wonder of science and medicine. She was pre-med at UC Berkeley in California and completed her bachelor’s of science from the University of Oregon. In 2004 she graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) with a doctorate in naturopathy (ND) and a masters in Oriental Medicine (MSOM). She has taught at the graduate level, spoken at numerous professional events and published herbal monographs for supplement companies.
For over 15 years, Dr. Provorse has been in private practice specializing in endocrinology (hormone-related disorders). She was the first rhythmic dosing practitioner in Oregon, blazing trails in this state using circannual rhythmic replacement. She continues to offer this revolutionary hormone therapy (as well as static HRT options) to cis- and transgender adults in her practice for optimal wellness. Many endocrine disorders have an autoimmune component, so Dr. Provorse has become well-versed in many of those conditions: especially Hashimoto‘s and Grave’s disease. Dr. Provorse is a member of the endoANP (endocrinology association of naturopathic physicians).
